About Project Aasra
In India, millions of widows and abandoned women face extreme poverty, social ostracization, and a lack of support systems. Project Aasra aims to be their pillar of strength. We provide monthly pensions, legal aid, and vocational training to help them reclaim their dignity.
Beyond financial aid, we focus on community reintegration. By setting up small businesses (like sewing circles or food stalls), we empower these women to become self-reliant and respected members of society.
